This UI/UX Case Study is divided into 3 parts, you can check the previous and next part from the link below:

Overview

I already ideate and prototype the previous part. From these stages, Design and Prototype have already been conducted and users can try it to get and feel the experience. To make sure that this new design can achieve background and objective, I need evaluation by Usability Testing. I do Usability Testing with 5 respondents that I interviewed on Empathize stage.

Goal:

(1)Make sure same perception both of the design and users, (2)Understanding behavior, pain, and needs users from this design, (3)Validate the design with research result

Method: Usability Testing

Tools: Figma and Zoom

Results: Redesign based on Feedback

📝Scenario

I asked the user to take any action with my guideline. I take 4 features to test by the user so they get 4 roles, there are: (1)user as a person need Isoman place, (2) user as a person uploads service information, (3)user as a person that read the article, and (4)user as a person needs to story sharing with others.

Overall, the question that I asked is about their first impression when looks at the screen. For each answer that they said, I asked the reason behind the answer to getting new insight. Then, all of the users succeed do every task. But, there are some points that need to improve user experience.

💡 Insight

  1. Search Icon on Navigation Bar looks like clickable to input text. So, the icon “search” needs to replace with another icon.
  2. Feel confused with the differentiation text field “Description” and text field “Required Prereqruitment”. So, the text field needs a specific placeholder.
  3. Not notice button “share” on Article Page. So, the button “share” needs to move on the center screen.

Suggestion:

  1. Adding article date so user can choose the updated one
  2. Giving notification for users that already sharing service information
  3. Saved article so user can re-read
  4. Need alert on Chat Room if it will keep private. Next, tell the user about the rule to share with the Peduli Covid Team such as duration, etc
  5. Mentioned to the user, how much time that the Peduli Covid need to verify our information

Actually, there are some points that are not mentioned above. I think them not crucial and it can be implemented in the next chapter.
